First let me start off by saying I hadn't heard this band until they were announced for the #blueridgerockfestival. When new bands are announced I always check them out and this is one that I absolutely fell in love with immediately! They have a Breaking Benjamin vibe. Their music, along with their personalities and interaction with fans is incredible. Please check them out after you read the interview with Will their lead singer/guitarist.

You will not be disappointed! 🤘🎶

Mandy: What is the inspiration/meaning for your band name?

Will: Our band name comes from the 'negative nancies' we have experienced in life. We have been taken advantage of, lied to, etc. These people have hollow intentions, this, Hollow Intent.

Mandy: Who are your biggest influences for your music?

Will: For the band it ranges from Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle to The Used, Kiss, Deftones, Helmet, etc.

Mandy: What is your favorite song you've written and the meaning of the song?

Will: For me (Will), I'd have to say Parasite. It's about someone I worked with who was physically and emotionally abused and how the abuser is such a Parasite. I actually mailed a copy of the song to him, just so he could hear it.

Mandy: What message would you like for your music to put out?

Will: Even though at times, it seems angry, it isn't THAT emotion, it's the reasons behind the emotions. Why we feel that way, why it got to that point.

Mandy: What artist/band would you like to collaborate with?

Will: Oh that's easy, Breaking Benjamin or Chevelle. For me at least lol

Mandy: What is the craziest thing that has happened while you were on tour?

Will: Haven't really been on tour yet, but we once had an old lady unshirt herself and dance around. That was nuts lol

Mandy: During the covid-19 quarantine/lockdown are you working on any special projects?

Will: We have been but I can't say what it is just yet.

Mandy: What message would you like to say to your fans/future fans?

Will: The moving pieces in this industry have all but stopped, but the music never dies. Keep listening and sharing, it helps more than you know. Also, if anyone needs to talk or anything, we are all open books. You wanna be mad, sad, happy, whatever, just hit us up.
